We had been interested in necklaces made entirely of gemstone beads for a long time — but we never really found what we were looking for. The quality of the stones was often not beautiful enough, or the look of the necklace was too coarse, too restless. And the clasps? They were almost never nicely finished or subtle enough. It just never felt quite right to buy something like that.

Until we got talking to Manesh at a trade fair — a contact person from India with whom we have had a very good relationship for years, and who now also feels like a real friend. We have been buying gemstones from him for years, and he knows our style and preferences very well.

Coincidentally, he told me that he was thinking about producing gemstone necklaces himself. And that was exactly the moment when everything came together for us. We could tell him what we were looking for: refinement, simplicity, quality. He understood that immediately, because his own view on stones and finishing fits in perfectly with that.

And so we started this adventure together. We agreed on the closure together — something that is really important to us. Because there are many people who want to wear a pendant on the closure, and then it has to look beautiful and refined. It had to be sturdy, right, balanced.
